On January 20 I’ll put my studio lab coat aside for a while and shake the dust off my live gear. I’m supporting Hell Cat, the hard-and-classic-rocking trio led by the acclaimed bass virtuoso Marco Jones. The place to be: Toby and Fella’s (Tku). Check the event on Facebook.

I’m currently working on a new album with the Loose Train and it’s great fun. We made the first recordings couple of days ago and tried out a new recording format too – cassette tapes. I don’t think it’s going be the only recording medium to be used in these sessions but it’s always interesting to explore different recording techniques. We used Cutec MR402D 4-track cassette recorder, a bunch of ribbon mics, recorded everything live and the results sound good!
